I first experienced a qigong master in 1995 -- Effie P. Chow. I was so skeptical beforehand that I asked for my admittance fee to be lowered and she cut it in half -- I think I paid $10. Then during her demonstration she had us make "chi balls" -- holding our hands slightly apart with the palms facing -- she had filled the room with chi. Sure enough I felt very strong electromagnetic energy pushing my hands apart. Then at the end everyone was leaving -- in a University classroom. A security guard wandered in wondering what was going on since the fuse got blown in the room behind the qigong master.
I assure you that qigong energy definitely is electromagnetic as chi and then as shen energy it is laser holographic - so more coherent and higher frequency. Then there is jing energy which is electrochemical emotional energy like a buzzing tingling heat bliss sensation.
O.K. so then in 1999 in my graduate class at the University qigong master Chunyi Lin gave a presentation. At this point I had read Harvard medical doctor David Eisenberg's book Encounters with Qi -- and Chunyi Lin was exactly like the qigong master in that book who did telekinesis. So I knew Chunyi Lin was real -- my friend had even meditated with him and recommended him. So when I took his class he walked around and used the Shaolin sword fingers to transmit energy into us. We did a simple standing exercise called "Moving of Yin and Yang." So anyway John Chang is not fake...John Chang is the real deal as he's had several Western students who verify his abilities besides the scientists in the vid.
To finish my masters degree at the U of MN I did the intensive qigong training for about six months. First I was on a special diet -- vegan and then even no salt. I fasted for 8 days on just half a glass of water but I was never hungry and the electromagnetic fields got stronger and stronger. So then I went to the Level 3 healing retreat where Chunyi Lin works to open your third eye which is in the middle of the brain -- the pineal gland. I asked Chunyi Lin what should I do and he said: "Let me read your aura" and he then told me to keep my mouth shut and he left the room. Then the middle of my brain was on fire as he was doing long distance healing to open my third eye.
To train to be a qigong master Chunyi Lin told Jim Nance to sit in full lotus nonstop for 2 hours straight every day with not missing any time. Chunyi Lin did the standing horse stance at Shaolin with the thighs flat for 2 hours nonstop every day for three months. Three months is called a "gong" -- 100 days -- of sublimating the life force energy while emptying the mind - meditating the whole time. So the secret is that ultrasound from collagen creates electromagnetic fields as sonofusion and sonoluminescence. That is the Western explanation. Chunyi Lin when he trained with a top student of Master Zhang -- (Zhang Gong)-- Then Chunyi Lin did a month in full lotus nonstop with only three small apples and three small bottles of water -- in a cave -- no sleep and no food, no water otherwise.
So afterwards he had to get 200 volts of electric transformer energy through his body and be able to change the electricity level. Also he had to change the alcohol level in wine -- to water. Also he levitated up nine feet while in full lotus. O.K. so you think it's too wild? Then qigong master Chunyi Lin was proven to be the real deal by the Mayo Clinic top medical research center doing Western science research.
O.K. so when my electromagnetic energy was very strong then I did see dead spirits that go to Chunyi Lin to get healing -- they floated into the conference room from outside. Chunyi Lin said yes he also heals the dead spirits that come to him when he is emitting chi. So the dead spirits look like human shape but are holographic light energy -- they were yellow to me.
If you want to know the secrets of how to be a qigong master then study this book Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immortality -- free download online. The reason there are few qigong masters is it requires celibacy and total mind concentration -- and so it's best done in solitude and also around a qigong master transmitting energy into you.
This training comes from the original Bushmen trance dance culture -- which has the same training as qigong energy. O.K. so when Chunyi Lin did the sword fingers when walking past me - then I saw bright light even though my eyes were closed -- and I felt this amazing love bliss energy that was more euphoric than anything I had experienced. So that was the Level 1 class. So the level 2 class he said he could read what percentage an organ in the body was working. So during the break I asked him what percentage my right kidney was working. He was standing in front of me and looked at my right kidney and suddenly I felt it get super hot with bliss energy. He said about 70%.
O.K. so after my level 3 training I did heal my mom so she no longer needed surgical stockings and to keep her legs elevated all the time -- and when I did the healing again it was strong magnetic fields from my hands. So for the qigong master reality is holographic - that's what Chunyi Lin said -- so he can distantly focus on someone just having their name, sex, location and age.
O.K. so then this old lady asked me to heal her and the healing is without any touching but I forgot to not pull the energy blockages out from the top center of the head. So I accidentally pulled her spirit right out of her body and she immediately started bawling and kept bawling for at least 15 minutes nonstop. So when the electromagnetic energy is strong you have to be careful -- when I pulled her spirit out of her it felt like a heavy electromagnetic blob. So at first in the training the jing energy is built up so the kidneys get hot and then the thymus and then the energy turns from hot bliss into electromagnetic energy. This has to be stored and built up and then the middle of the brain gets hot and electromagnetic and you can have electromagnetic fields shoot out of the middle of the brain -- this is how telepathy happens.
For astral travel there is a spacetime vortex around the body -- and this is what really freaked me out so I stopped training after that -- intensively. But then Chunyi Lin touched his finger to my forehead to further open my third eye so then I had a permanent magnetic bliss in the middle of my brain after that. He said I had an enlightenment experience.
That was in 2000. So then I spent 10 years sitting in full lotus and reading one scholarly book a day to translate it back into Western science. I was no longer storing up the chi energy but instead just transmitting it through my pineal gland but I needed to purify the jing energy first to build up the chi before transmitting it through the pineal gland. So then I stopped transmitting the energy through the pineal gland.
But essentially the pineal gland will read other peoples' energy through this spirit energy -- it is light energy that shoots out of the eyes and the pineal gland -- and then my own internal body will then holographically reflect the blockage in someone else. So the main blockages are emotional electrochemical blockages so that each main organ is actually for a main emotion -- since they are electrochemical energy. So a liver blockage is anger -- so if someone has a big liver blockage around me then my own liver will burn hot until I clear out their liver blockage. The pancreas is worry, the lungs are sadness, the heart is over-excitement, the kidneys are fear. So each of these organs gets transformed to build up the love energy of the heart that is then transmitted out of the pineal gland as spirit holographic energy.

Meditation book pdf of 238 pages: Phra Acharn Mun Bhuridatta Thera Meditation Master!!
This is a Theravedin meditation master book -- they provide everything free.

Many thanks for this. I am incorporating nesajjika into my practice to overcome apparent problems--I hope that this will help keep me from misapplying my time.
I was sharing how the cops raided me when I had was snoring in full lotus on the toilet in the handicap stall in the University bathroom during the break. haha.
Yeah Yan Xin's Shaolin teacher never slept - just meditated all night....
hmmm....
gives me hope I will find time to meditate enough to build up energy. haha.
As someone on thetaobums posted recently -- the energy is from "coherence" - quantum coherence. Harmonization. Synchronization.
opposites attract so if you have lots of love then you suck up other people's hate -- you become "the fall guy."
The solution is more meditation to transform all the anger hate that was sucked up back into more love energy.
It works via the vagus nerve. Right side vagus nerve increases dopamine and then serotonin for the internal orgasm and then left side vagus nerve increases the oxytocin love to the heart.
So the problem with modern society -- the lack of love -- is because males don't know how to have internal female orgasms.
So then the males are too stressed out and then they stress out the females.
It takes about 40 internal orgasms to really open up the heart energy.
Check out the bonobos -- our closet primate cousins - it's all about female orgasms and love energy.
So I sat in full lotus for an hour today and then out of nowhere I have a nice big internal orgasm -- my big clitoris (penis) is throbbing and the love juice is shooting up my spine. All the tension in my back is released.
The male external ejaculation triggers the sympathetic stress nervous system.
A lot of females think they need to get males to ejaculate in order for the females to get love.
That's how messed up modern society is - the opposite of the original human culture - the Bushmen going back to 100,000 BCE - all the males train to sublimate the energy.
So there is a technique to love - it's not some magic secret except that it is a secret of psychophysiology.
The male electromagnetic energy is what triggers the female internal climax of the vagus nerve connection to the reproductive organ.
So this male electromagnetic energy is then transmitted externally also -- and so the haters are naturally attracted to the electromagnetic energy - they subconsciously have to feed off it since they are not able to produce it on their own.
Through meditation we can produce it on our own - so they bring on the hate - we suck it up -- and then transform it back into love energy.
Not much the haters can do except passively take in more love energy from us until they finally decide to learn how to meditate or trance dance, etc. to make it themselves.
Modern society is addicted to stress -- this is the dopamine addiction:
salt, sugar, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, and win-lose games like card games and sports.
So for example the national sport of Burma, a Burmese culture, is a group hacky sack game.
There are no losers - so it's a serotonin bliss trance game - not this dopamine violence addiction game like Western sports.
One hour of full lotus is a goal for me... but how in the hell do you keep your legs from falling asleep? Mine fall asleep like clockwork at 25 minutes, then it's a matter of "how long should I go on before I worry about damaging myself?"
When I first got my meditations up to an hour I was like "this is easy!" But that was in half lotus! I had no idea.
Well it's your call but Chunyi Lin says when the legs are asleep that just means the energy is in your upper body and then it will cycle back down when the legs wake up again.
I just came out of full lotus -- my left foot was asleep but not that bad. I usually wait for it to clear out.
For me I have the internal orgasm after an hour - -and that clears out all the pain. haha.
hi Ashley and drew,I also have a problem with my legs going dead after 25 to 30 minutes,I do Burmese and quarter lotus,I can do half lotus only if I do 30 minutes of stretches beforehand and I only last for 30 minutes doing half lotus as its quite sore so I'm not so flexible but have come a long way even so as first starting off I couldn't even do Burmese pose, but I hope Chunyi Lin is right because they do say you can damage nerves if the pins and needles last a long time after your legs wake up,I tried getting a higher meditation cushion which helped only a little bit ,I'm thinking of getting a meditation bench to see if theirs any improvement as its my last hope, when my legs go dead they never became undead untill I broke the meditation pose,if you could stop the legs from going dead one could sit for such a long time so what I do it's just 30 minute sits and take 5 minute breaks to get the blood flowing again but it stops you from getting deep into your meditation
Yeah actually someone asked about this to qigong master Lesley Anne Vincent and she said how once she was in full lotus and the whole lower half of her body was numb. haha.
Umm - basically in qigong it's understood that the numbness is blocked channels and then the qi energy rushes back in and opens the channels up.
But again it's your call -- Chunyi Lin said that he was watching a kung fu movie in full lotus and the movie was long but really good and then when it was over he realized he had been in full lotus for 2 hours. But he then also realized he was in great pain. But then after that he just kept doing 2 hours of full lotus.
When I was "flexing" my pineal gland I would go all day in full lotus just taking bathroom breaks but my secret again was the internal orgasm takes away all the pain. haha.
Considering science does not describe the male internal vagus nerve orgasm yet -- I do think the full lotus delves into realms not yet recognized by science.
But Jim Nance says do not force the full lotus. For me it was doing half hour full lotus with half hour small universe in a chair and then half hour standing active exercises -- to start and end the practice. So I had a two hour session.
I did that like three times a day -- and so it's the increased electromagnetic energy that enables the full lotus.
Master Nan, Huai-chin says the full lotus in ease shows that the chi channels are open, etc.
Last night I was in my steepest full lotus in a long time -- since I am still recovering my left knee from being sprained.
So like I posted in my deep full lotus blues post -- I can no longer promote the full lotus as the answer.
But Chunyi Lin says 20 minutes of full lotus meditation equals four hours of any other type of meditation. I still stand by that.
Wang Liping was tied up in full lotus for four hours -- in great pain - -but it then opened up his channels. Of course he was personally supervised by qigong masters -- so a big difference -- and only nine years old.
Yogananda had a yoga school for boys and he was proud that some did nine hours of nonstop full lotus meditation.
Anyway I personally find full lotus more balancing than half lotus for the energy flows....
But yeah since that's the name of my blog -- it's not like thetaobums where I have to debate people about how the full lotus is better. haha. Chunyi Lin did a month or 2 months of nonstop full lotus in the cave.
Still though at first -- do more standing active exercises. I do small universe in full lotus also.
But I say a combination of all these -- like the Bushmen trance dance says that often not till the middle of the night does the energy really get activated -- so about six hours of practice.
I found that if I sit right on the edge of my meditation cushion my right leg goes dead but if I sit a bit back on the meditation cushion my left leg goes dead,I even taking a heart supplement which is supposed to increase blood flow and expands the veins and arteries, not because I want legs to not go dead but just taking care of my heart as I smoked to much ciggerettes past few years and wanted to see if I could repair myself a bit ,if there's any repairing required I'm not sure but it's supposed to be good for clearing out plack from the veins
Yeah it's my long term goal to get into fulllotus and I believe the great benefits from it and the theory behind it about it activating the vagus nerve and opening up the channels but my legs can't get into it yet I'm just not flexable enough but I'll get their eventually ,untill then I'll keep stretching and slowly try and get into it,maybe I'm not producing enough electromagnetic energy as my jing is not full as I have a wife so what takes you couple of years could take me 20 or 40 lol
Oh yeah as I live with four females then my energy goes to them so I have less vivid dreams, etc. haha.
I buy cayenne in bulk -- 10 pounds -- costs about $50 -- lasts about 7 or 8 months....
So then whenever I eat meat, eggs, dairy or olive oil then I use lots of cayenne.
In the morning I just drink cayenne and then it's toilet time. haha.
It's the opposite of coffee -- there's a dude in Minnesota who almost died from heart attacks and surgery and then he started taking cayenne and his life dramatically improved.
Supposedly a tablespoon of cayenne will save the life of someone who just had a heart attack.
It thins the bloodplatelets and helps remove the plaque that way.
Yeah my blood pressure was 107 over 69 despite my high cholesterol diet -- lots of bacon, sausage, etc.
Anyway I haven't had my cholesterol checked but I think blood pressure is pretty indicative.
hhhmmmmmmm
Personally I use a thick heavy blanket so the surface is flat -- like how Mantak Chia describes the sacrum bones as like the foundation or buttress -- I never got into having a cushion with the backside higher than the knees.
Also a "hard" surface is recommended -- like when I sit in full lotus on the bed -- not nearly as good.
Something about the pressure on the perineum is definitely key to open up channels.
Still I think a little bit every day and slow improvement - yeah I had strong chi energy 13 years ago now -- only for a few weeks - and I would be surprised if I ever got back to that level. haha.
I still have to be careful about full lotus -- I love how it clears out the tension in the shoulders and exorcises my brain but my knees are definitely stiff afterwards. So then I have to rely on standing active exercises.
So my understanding is the mind sitting meditation increases the chi energy but then the standing active exercises puts the chi to use in the body to open up the channels better.
yeah I'll definitely get some cayenne to try it out thanks ,I have bad circulation in hands and feet so when it's gets cold my hands turn purple so the cayenne could help that to,some garlic and ginger to could help,I notice in nan huai chins books he always says if you keep losing your jing, never if you lose your jing the odd time so maybe that means if I'm not losing my jing constantly but just occasionally I'm still making progress but then again it could be spoiling everything,so if its stopping me from making progress then I'm doomed, cause I'll stop losing my jing when I'm prob about 60 lol but by then the jing can probably not be replenished enough to make progress, this is disturbing
Yeah it's difficult to build up jing when around females. haha. Very difficult depending on how much physical work you do and then the diet and also how much jing energy has been lost.
So the thing is that even if you're old -- if you eat strong jing food and then meditate all the time and stay away from pervs and females then you can build up your energy no matter what.
But again in these times where sex sells -- it's only alone in the wilderness like the Bushmen where originally for 90% of human history -- that's the conditions -- or in real traditional societies.
The paradox being of course that with the separation of the sexes it enables the men to build up their energy which then the females appreciate better. But in modern times this secret has been lost so the females are mad at the males for not being real men but then the females don't let the males train to be real men since it's considered too repressive against the females. Then the males attack the females without knowing to train to be real men.
So it's like a confused mess -- this goes way back.
Amazingly if as a male you train to sit in full lotus then you can take in the female jing energy around you and then transmit energy back to the females as chi energy.
This does create great love and healing health energy -- I lived like this for five years -- but the only thing is you are not building up your chi energy by doing this. Just circulating it around.
Still it's way better than just the repressed left brain dominant "normal" reality. I mean even male who works hard and just sublimates his energy that way -- he will build up electromagnetic energy and that creates real love also -- as karma yoga.
So anyway it's just all this stuff is repressed in modern times so then people just go about it blindly -- just making more people and everything growing exponentially -- population and energy use growing exponentially -- destroying ecology. So Nature will balance things out again without humans destroying ecology.
The cayenne will definitely help circulation big time. What happens is sugar and caffeine both over stimulate the adrenal glands and so your body gets a rush of energy but then the pancreas has to kick out insulin to counteract energy rush. So then your body goes into the low energy from too much insulin and so then the adrenals need to create more energy -- what happens?
The adrenals are forced to take energy from the extremities of the body - -the hands and feet -- and this is why people get cold hands and feet from too much sugar or too much caffeine. It used to happen to me all the time and then I read that book "Sugar Blues" which explains that cycle very well.
great if you could build a hermit hut in that Forrest of yours so the females wouldn't take your energy and bring some supplies for a few months and then your energy would be strong you might not even need energy transmissions ,we can just humbly wait for you to return to your blog to tell us the results, darn why didn't I stay single lol
I think I have more faith in energy transmissions by touch rather from long distance,I mean the long ditance is just backed up by theory but one can't deny that energy is going into you by touch,if the distance healing didnt work aswell then the energy healers by distance would be screwed,or else my doubts stop the energy from getting to me. From a distance, hay drew, can you hold the image of the skeleton in the skeleton visualisation? It doesn't work for me yet if I'm close to sleep I can make a movie in my head but as soon as I'm building concepts about it it crashes
Umm actually Chunyi Lin says that phone healing is even easier for him to do because the more superficial blockages don't distract him.
Yeah all I can say is try a phone healing from Chunyi Lin -- but maybe you did that right? Wasn't it you who then had your family intervene so to speak? haha.
I did build a "leaf fort" in the forest the summer before last but the leaves all composted over the winter so I couldn't use it this year. Anyway I needed it to escape the "cabin fever" that sets in during the Minnesota winters. haha. So I had three foot leaf walls and an army cot and I could sleep for a few hours in there. Then I could meditate a night when it's quiet. But I've established myself more now -- so it's a bit safer for me. haha.
Yeah it's pretty frustrating knowing all this stuff is real and knowing what I experienced -- how amazing it was -- and how people around me were freaking out from my energy. haha. It was a fantastic trip. I mean probably not till I die will I see spirits again, and experience the level of bliss I did, etc. But then I did 8 days on half glass of water so it was like transcending death in some ways.
Yeah Master Nan, Huai-chin says how almost all practitioners today "fall back into worldliness" due to "heroic overexuberance" because right before real samadhi kundalini "yuan chi" or pre-natal chi kicks in then a person has all these spiritual powers develop. if they are used then the person has to rebuild and reharmonize their energy again but since they've been "discovered" it's that much more difficult.
So I used those powers to heal others as Chunyi Lin teaches healing others -- but now Chunyi Lin tells me to store up my energy. haha. I did five years of free healing in full lotus all day long, "flexing" my pineal gland. A year and half ago I did a ten day fast in full lotus the whole time, "flexing" my pineal gland. So I burned out my jing energy because sometimes I am transmitting chi energy to a female who has low jing energy so that she does not provide much back to me. haha.
Anyway Chunyi Lin did read the book "Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot and he says that is accurate for energy healers. The energy works like a holograph and feels like a laser.
But yeah I can see if the phone healing you got didn't work then you'd be skeptical. My last phone healing with Jim Nance didn't work but it was my fault for ranting the whole time. haha. When I saw him in person then it was very amazing -- strong electromagnetic energy deep inside my body. Not the same as the phone healing I got from Chunyi Lin which was the shakti shen laser energy deep in my heart - really amazing. It didn't heal my stopped up colon with charcoal bits but it healed me in a more profound way, opening up my heart further.
Yeah so obviously this stuff depends on various factors -- and there has to be considerations taken -- even if it's considered a scam on some levels. I mean I grant the healers some leeway as maybe they had a rough day or something. haha.
yeah I'm big into sugar and caffeine, but I moved onto matcha green powder which has tons of caffeine but tons of antioxidants too,I need to give up sugar so and caffeine darn lol
Yeah I tried a phone healing, that was me,but I'm thinking I'm not opened up enough to take in the energy as I'm only meditating on and off about 2 years now so maybe I'm not sensitive enough to detect the energy,I could see the energy with eyes closed and eyes open a few weeks ago when I had a full day of zazenkai with my zen buddhist friend in his dojo house,he meditates with eyes open but I'm accustomed to eyes closed,so when I saw the energy with eyes closed I opened my eyes for a few minutes and observed the energy fluctuating,we do 30 minutes sits so us rookies don't be in agony but I think when where not their he likes to do 3 hour sits,he's been studying buddism for 20 years yet when I asked him about seeing energy he just shrugs haha,to be honest seeing energy because third eye is opened is just a very low phenomenon yet I haven't met anyone in my area who has an activated third eye, they just look at me dumb founded haha,so I guess there's a lot of people out there sitting doing meditation for years and yet because of egnorance they don't have enough chi to activate there third eye because well there not keeping there jing, but then I'm amazed how did I activate mine in 2 weeks if I'm not also keeping my jing, hmmmm I just got a lucky break maybe when I had a good deep meditation as my forehead viberated when I activated my pineal gland, although when I had migrains when I was 12 years old I also saw energy but it was grey energy just like when the tv pipe or ariel breaks lol,I learned that migrains are caused from the pineal gland getting crusted over or calcified or becoming inactive
yeah seeing lights when the eyes are open is a good sign -- the 700 page book gets into it too as light being from "friction" and not the real kundalini pre-natal chi. But Taoist Yoga says seeing light with eyes open is real while seeing lights with eyes closed is not the real chi energy.
So yeah I'm not sure about sensitivity being required -- I think I know what you mean though. Still the energy is felt more when the channels are less open and then with more practice the energy is felt less until the channels are filled up again with energy.
So that's why Yan Xin says not to rely on the feelings or sensations to judge the practice. Still obviously all this has to be considered.
Yeah the whole jing connection is the focus of the book "Taoist Yoga" and Gary Clyman's qigong bible is good on that also -- pretty good -- I mean he just uses direct language about how that is the key.
Hmmm yeah interesting but in the same moment you could see the energy with eyes closed then open your eyes and you see that same energy which would be like saying not real then real then not real, the energy I see is just the pineal gland being active,I'm a long way off seeing internal lights because of friction I think, sometimes beginner phenomenon can seem like advanced phenomenon which happened to me few months ago when I couldn't feel my body but could feel myself as being a large piece of something outside far away lol nearly shit myself lol
I noticed that you posted about cayenne. How much is healthy? I definitely had that and it helped with having a sore throat. I'm sensitive to sugar myself and got the cold body like you posted before. I'm gonna give cayenne a try. You should do an article on it. I love your posts man. Wish I could archive them and then put them on a jump drive to read later on.
Yeah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm0RJGJlQrk just found this on cayenne. Lots of good info there.
I was searching Left for Dead -- the title of the book by a Minneapolis man who had the heart attack problems and saved his life with cayenne. He started a company selling cayenne supplements but the FDA went after him. I think the company is still in business but there was some fall out with his family, etc. from all the FDA attacks...
http://www.cayennecompany.com/company_history/
Yeah there it is.
So I guess there is a tolerance build up -- to be sure. I take amounts that would make a normal person completely spit it up. haha.
I have OD'd a couple times on cayenne -- once in a Thai restaurant -- it was a different kind of red pepper so I wasn't use to the delayed effect. I could barely breathe and was gasping for air for a couple minutes. haha.
Anyway normally though I have probably a few tablespoons of cayenne a day.
I just refill the bottles out of the 10 pound bag I have in storage. 10 pounds is a huge mound of cayenne.
Yeah that's the local free newspaper that gets into the history of the cayenne company breakout and its origins.
markmezo 1 year ago
Well i had two heat attacks two weeks apart (confirmed) i had heard about cayenne pepper from a mate & a book called "Left For Dead" so i purchased cayenne powder from the supermarket & then started to have another heart attack a few weeks later, my nitro was having no effect so i put 1/4 teaspoon in a glass of water & within seconds i could feel the blood rushing to my feet & the chest pain went away almost immediately, so cayenne powder does in fact stop a heart attack dead in its tracks. · 6
Wow -- pretty amazing.
Yeah cayenne kills cancer cells also.
But Chunyi Lin says too much spices in the winter damages the lung energy.
So I'm sure there is an amount that is too much. I think it depends on what else is in the diet. The whole food combination thing is too complicated for me. I know Chunyi Lin and Jim Nance use their chi third eye energy to pull out blockages from the food before they eat it....
So I have never heard... http://agelessherbs.com/chinese-herbs/copd-asthma-lung/
the over consumption of hot spices, especially when dryness is presenting. If there is a huge constant craving for spicy-hot foods, this reflects an imbalance in the Lung Organ System. Because the Metal Element can be damaged by excessively pungent foods, it is best to curb the over consumption of hot spices, especially when dryness is presenting.
Yeah I don't know if I can say I have a "craving" for cayenne - I just like to add it to dairy -- clears the sinuses - and meat and eggs and oil, etc.
Anyway there is a "cough reflex" activated if there's too much cayenne. Western medicine calls it the "cough reflex." but it goes away soon -- I don't get this hardly at all.
Says cayenne can stimulate "thick sputum" and coughing... I have never noticed it creating any sputum. Maybe just clearing out -- in fact I use cayenne to heal my nephews who often have phelgm in their lungs. I think it's caused by too much sugar or dairy -- but definitely from corn syrup. Anyway they know that cayenne works -- it takes away their phelgmy lung cough which otherwise is chronic from a diet not traditional to their ethnicity.
Yeah tried it out today by sprinklinng some on my brocoli and bam that pepper hits hard. I was tearing and my nose cleared out. Felt much better and my blood started to flow better. I wonder what are the energetic effects of it though.
Hmm perhaps since it is winter, I'll just use it with on and off days. Not something to over use as you stated above. hmm if you find some more information on it and the effects it has on the chi channels, post it up. I'll love to see it.
Wow Western medicine using cayenne for anxiety treatment from the endorphins released...
Yeah so it seems to help activate the jing energy and maybe also the parasympathetic nervous system. Sure enough:
http://www.fortitech.com/glossary/cayenne/
Many of cayenne’s positive effects on the cardiovascular system are thought to be due to excitation of neurons in the vagus nerve. [ Ref. ] Some of the unmyelinated sensory fibers sensitive to capsaicin contain the neuropeptides Substance P and somatostatin. Capsaicin reportedly stimulates the release of these neuropeptides from both central and peripheral terminals of these primary afferent neurons. [ Ref. ] The release of the neuropeptide Substance P is associated with desensitization, analgesia and anti-inflammatory activity. Prolonged exposure to capsaicin results in a gradual desensitization to acute effects, potentially due to the depletion of substance P and somatostatin from the primary afferent neurons.
I've started listening to synthesized, binaural tones while meditating - not the proper way through headphones but from blasting it out of my computer speakers. I have this 'deep meditation' 30 minute track music track delivering alpha, delta and theta waves. I wish it didn't have the new agey music portion though because that can get distracting while meditating so I'm slowly looking to acquire the holosync program but its pricey.
I'm meditating in a loud apartment in Queens and need some sort of background 'noise' to drown out all the yelling, the crying and the general cacophony that comes with living in a building housing a few dozen people. If I had noise cancelling headphones I would use those in conjunction with the binaural tones. I have been noticing a deeper meditation already but that may be due to the fact that its easier to concentrate when the other noises are drowned out.
I've been doing this for 30 minutes. Meditating 'ohm mani padme hum' internally. At 30 minutes my right leg is dead asleep even in half-lotus, so I get up. My plan is to get right up and switch over into a chair meditation for the next 30 minutes but the sensation of numbness is practically impossible for me to let go.
Gotta figure all this out!
What meditations are you all currently doing? Paul mentioned the white skeleton meditation which I've only attempted a few times and should do more of. Visualizations are the surest way for me to slow my thinking down because of all the mental work involved with them. Sometimes I do anapana, shamatha-vipassana, japa practice.
Yeah just got out of hour full lotus meditation to the "Inner Quiet" SFQ music meditation c.d.
Ummm....
so yeah I remember having to use a chair to get out of sitting meditation. Like having to put my hands on the chair behind me and then lifting myself up. Then sitting on the chair I do small universe meditation c.d. for half hour. Then do standing active exercise meditation for half hour.
I did a four hour meditation session last week that was awesome -- but usually I gotta make myself available for other duties. haha.
Still now I got meditation music playing so my family can't falsely accuse me of sleeping - which happened when I meditated in silence with my door closed.
As for visualization -- I usually do japa on the I-thought. But I also have the Six Word Chant c.d. and visualization I am still working on. When I start falling asleep then I go into the REM state and so that is dream visualization. Sometimes I fall asleep in full lotus.
A couple nights ago I woke myself up out of sleep before a female got the best of me. haha. I had stopped myself halfway -- before anything leaked out halfway up the spout so to speak - -then I go into full lotus in bed and then fall asleep in full lotus. Then I wake up with a jolt out of sleep and then go out of full lotus back to horizontal sleeping.
Anyway I have a Hemisync Deep Meditation c.d. a coworker copied for me -- I'll give it a go now. I like to change around the music. I find if I keep changing the meditation music then I can keep going deeper into the practice.
Yeah it's awesome. Just had my morning cayenne dose and am amazed how much I love cayenne. Had a nice sneeze that cleared out the sinuses.
I don't buy tumeric in bulk. So also my sister complained that I stained the kitchen counter with it. haha.
Seriously though -- turmeric is another life saver.
Yeah I had too much salt last night so it kept me awake. Sometimes I eat processed food and forget the salt levels are high. If I remember then I take enough potassium but we didn't have much fruit in the house last night. I had an orange but not enough.
Yeah they say sprinkle it on meats -- that's what I do with turmeric.
But buying herbs not in bulk is too expensive for me to use them much.
Cayenne in bulk is probably five times cheaper -- actually that's what I calculated - five times cheaper than in the store.
I suppose turmeric is the same -- it's just I use so much cayenne it's almost overkill on the spices to add more.
My other main supplement is spirulina powder. So everyday I have a tablespoon or two of spirulina.
Then I also do a lot of olive oil to keep my testosterone up since I have low jing energy normally -- besides I do a lot of physical manual labor, etc.

Thanks for visiting my blog Bill Bodri! Do you know what Master Nan, Huai-chin died of pneumonia? Was he teaching to much and so his energy could not heal the flu virus? I think good organic garlic is very effective -- I know three bulbs reverses the full on flu symptoms. Is garlic not allowed by Mahayana monk vows?
Many thanks for this. I am incorporating nesajjika into my practice to overcome apparent problems--I hope that this will help keep me from misapplying my time.
ReplyDeletehttp://en.dhammadana.org/sangha/dhutanga/effort/dh13.htm
DeleteAh hard core! Very awesome.
Maybe I will try.
Synchronization.
yeah this book is awesome I'm on page 293 at the moment,it's so big I'll have to keep rereading it to remember everything lol
ReplyDeleteopposites attract so if you have lots of love then you suck up other people's hate -- you become "the fall guy."
ReplyDeleteThe solution is more meditation to transform all the anger hate that was sucked up back into more love energy.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first got my meditations up to an hour I was like "this is easy!" But that was in half lotus! I had no idea.
Well it's your call but Chunyi Lin says when the legs are asleep that just means the energy is in your upper body and then it will cycle back down when the legs wake up again.
DeleteI just came out of full lotus -- my left foot was asleep but not that bad.
ReplyDeleteYeah actually someone asked about this to qigong master Lesley Anne Vincent and she said how once she was in full lotus and the whole lower half of her body was numb. haha.
DeleteUmm - basically in qigong it's understood that the numbness is blocked channels and then the qi energy rushes back in and opens the channels up.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's my long term goal to get into fulllotus and I believe the great benefits from it and the theory behind it about it activating the vagus nerve and opening up the channels but my legs can't get into it yet I'm just not flexable enough but I'll get their eventually ,untill then I'll keep stretching and slowly try and get into it,maybe I'm not producing enough electromagnetic energy as my jing is not full as I have a wife so what takes you couple of years could take me 20 or 40 lol
ReplyDeleteOh yeah as I live with four females then my energy goes to them so I have less vivid dreams, etc. haha.
DeleteI buy cayenne in bulk -- 10 pounds -- costs about $50 -- lasts about 7 or 8 months....
ReplyDeleteYeah it's difficult to build up jing when around females. haha. Very difficult depending on how much physical work you do and then the diet and also how much jing energy has been lost.
DeleteSo the thing is that even if you're old -- if you eat strong jing food and then meditate all the time and stay away from pervs and females then you can build up your energy no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI think I have more faith in energy transmissions by touch rather from long distance,I mean the long ditance is just backed up by theory but one can't deny that energy is going into you by touch,if the distance healing didnt work aswell then the energy healers by distance would be screwed,or else my doubts stop the energy from getting to me. From a distance, hay drew, can you hold the image of the skeleton in the skeleton visualisation? It doesn't work for me yet if I'm close to sleep I can make a movie in my head but as soon as I'm building concepts about it it crashes
ReplyDeleteUmm actually Chunyi Lin says that phone healing is even easier for him to do because the more superficial blockages don't distract him.
DeleteYeah all I can say is try a phone healing from Chunyi Lin -- but maybe you did that right?
ReplyDeleteYeah I tried a phone healing, that was me,but I'm thinking I'm not opened up enough to take in the energy as I'm only meditating on and off about 2 years now so maybe I'm not sensitive enough to detect the energy,I could see the energy with eyes closed and eyes open a few weeks ago when I had a full day of zazenkai with my zen buddhist friend in his dojo house,he meditates with eyes open but I'm accustomed to eyes closed,so when I saw the energy with eyes closed I opened my eyes for a few minutes and observed the energy fluctuating,we do 30 minutes sits so us rookies don't be in agony but I think when where not their he likes to do 3 hour sits,he's been studying buddism for 20 years yet when I asked him about seeing energy he just shrugs haha,to be honest seeing energy because third eye is opened is just a very low phenomenon yet I haven't met anyone in my area who has an activated third eye, they just look at me dumb founded haha,so I guess there's a lot of people out there sitting doing meditation for years and yet because of egnorance they don't have enough chi to activate there third eye because well there not keeping there jing, but then I'm amazed how did I activate mine in 2 weeks if I'm not also keeping my jing, hmmmm I just got a lucky break maybe when I had a good deep meditation as my forehead viberated when I activated my pineal gland, although when I had migrains when I was 12 years old I also saw energy but it was grey energy just like when the tv pipe or ariel breaks lol,I learned that migrains are caused from the pineal gland getting crusted over or calcified or becoming inactive
ReplyDeleteyeah seeing lights when the eyes are open is a good sign -- the 700 page book gets into it too as light being from "friction" and not the real kundalini pre-natal chi. But Taoist Yoga says seeing light with eyes open is real while seeing lights with eyes closed is not the real chi energy.
DeleteSo yeah I'm not sure about sensitivity being required -- I think I know what you mean though.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you posted about cayenne.
ReplyDeletethanks for the kudos!!
DeleteYeah http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm0RJGJlQrk just found this on cayenne.
10 pounds is a huge mound of cayenne.
http://www.citypages.com/1999-02-24/news/red-hot-heartbreak/

Western medicine calls it the "cough reflex." but it goes away soon -- I don't get this hardly at all.
http://www.shen-nong.com/eng/exam/bleeding_symptoms_coughing_up_blood.html
DeleteHmm perhaps since it is winter, I'll just use it with on and off days. Not something to over use as you stated above. hmm if you find some more information on it and the effects it has on the chi channels, post it up. I'll love to see it.
Well the burning sensation is from a calcium reaction. But then it activates the natural opiates next. So there is a blissful sensation.
DeleteThere's antioxidants -- so that is like chi energy neutralizing the free radicals -- cayenne has some antibacterial properties.

Cayenne Pepper, Fuel for the Sexual Flame
http://www.drcurtisduncan.com/2010/01/cayenne-pepper-fuel-for-sexual-flame.html

ReplyDeleteI'm meditating in a loud apartment in Queens and need some sort of background 'noise' to drown out all the yelling, the crying and the general cacophony that comes with living in a building housing a few dozen people.
Hey Drew , what do you think about turmeric?
ReplyDeleteYeah it's awesome. Just had my morning cayenne dose and am amazed how much I love cayenne. Had a nice sneeze that cleared out the sinuses.
DeleteI don't buy tumeric in bulk.
Salt also overactivates the adrenal glands.
So cayenne activates the vagus nerve relaxation.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog Bill Bodri!
